Victorian Buildings

We have worked on a series of landmark Victorian and Edwardian buildings, restoring their robust prominence. Buildings from this era are now over a hundred years old, and for a long time have been considered unfashionable. These buildings are adaptable for a range of purposes, and are constructed in a wealth of materials such as brick, slate, lead, cast iron, and terracotta. Many are richly ornamental, and their repair requires careful observation and a subtle knowledge of their distinct characteristics. We have a particular interest in high Victorian polychromatic architecture, which we have developed and explored over many years.
