Project Stage:
Complete

Major repair and refurbishment of exterior envelope of a Grade II listed 18th century family house currently in multi occupation. This building stands in a prominent location on the south side of Tottenham Green and was the last in the group to require repair and upgrading. The project included the extensive repair of the existing joinery, including window linings, internal shutters and dado panelling, and the replacement of inappropriate metal casement windows with traditionally made box sash windows. The project also included extensive repairs to the later 19th century rear bay windows and recovering and repairs to the roofs. In order to contribute to the regeneration of the Conservation Area and improve the setting of the building, new railings (based on an interpretation of traditional late 18th century ironwork), and hard landscaping were included as part of the project.
