Turner's House complete
Our project to conserve Turner's house in Twickenham, Sandycombe Lodge, is now complete. Designed by the eminent painter, the house was built between 1813 and 1815, and owned by Turner until 1826. In this project, we have reinstated Turner's original vision of a small rural retreat in the landscape. Working closely with Turner's House Trust, the interiors have been carefully re-formed and furnished to reflect Turner’s life in Twickenham.
